Team and Service Updates at Fylde Kids Foundation
As Fylde Kids Foundation continues to grow and evolve, we wanted to share some important updates regarding our trustee team and the way we deliver support to local children and families.

A Thank You to Tracey
After much consideration, Tracey has made the decision to step away from the charity and is no longer a trustee.
As one of the founders of Fylde Kids Foundation, Tracey has played an incredibly important role in shaping the charity into what it is today. Her passion, commitment and dedication have helped us support countless local children and families over the years, and her contributions simply cannot be understated.
On behalf of everyone at Fylde Kids Foundation, we would like to place on record our sincere thanks and appreciation for everything Tracey has done. She has been an invaluable asset to the organisation, will be greatly missed, and we wish her nothing but happiness and success in whatever comes next.

Welcoming Jane
We are also delighted to welcome Jane as a trustee. We look forward to having Jane as part of the team and working together as we continue to develop and strengthen the charity.
As we continue to grow, we will also be recruiting into a number of key roles within the charity, including Chair, Treasurer and Secretary, helping us build a strong and sustainable future for Fylde Kids Foundation.

Changes to Our Support Services
Over the past year, we have taken time to review how we deliver our support to ensure our resources have the greatest possible impact on local children.
Moving forward, we will no longer routinely provide white goods. Support with white goods will only be considered in exceptional circumstances, such as families fleeing domestic abuse and having to start again, or those who have lost essential items due to events such as house fires or other significant emergencies.
We will, however, continue to consider support with small appliances in emergency situations where they can make an immediate difference to a family's wellbeing. This may include items such as microwaves, air fryers and desktop ovens.
We will continue to provide support through our beds programme, school uniform provision, emergency food vouchers and Christmas support. Alongside this, we will be placing an even greater emphasis on helping children access skills workshops, extracurricular activities and opportunities to pursue their interests and ambitions that may otherwise be out of reach due to financial circumstances.
Our used school uniform and clothing banks will also remain available for anybody in the community who needs them, with no referral or questions asked. We want these resources to remain easily accessible to families who may need a little extra support.
These changes reflect our commitment to ensuring every pound donated has the greatest possible impact and that Fylde Kids Foundation remains in the strongest possible position to continue supporting local children and families for many years to come.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support Fylde Kids Foundation. Your support allows us to keep adapting, growing and making a real difference in the lives of local children and families.
